So much have changed in the past 6 months!

HEY GUYS!!!! surprise, surprise! I'm back for an update!!! Here's a sneak peak: I'm now a MUA! ;) Keep reading for more details!
I have been MIA from blogging for a FEW MONTHS! I apologize but so much have changed during these few months that I still can't believe it! Here are some quick updates!





These updates are in order of occurrence!

I finally graduated from University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Health Studies and Human-Physical Geography in April 2012. Attended my Convocation on June 13th. 

I decided to get certified as a professional makeup artist at The School of Professional Makeup and I graduated with First Honours! It was such an amazing experience and I am so honour to have gotten that title! I graduated on July 31st, 2012 and I have gotten many experience and gigs since then!

I have gotten my first car which was passed down from my brother and then after 4 months driving my brother's old car I am now driving my dad's old car instead which is a huge van!!!! I need to practice on my parking skills, it's pretty hard driving a van!

I am honour and proud to be the current Key Makeup Artist of a Fitness, Health and Beauty company called CELEBRITY PHYSIQUES. Servicing everything you need in terms of fitness, health and beauty under one stop! We are composed of a team of personal trainers, registered nutritionists, skincare specialists, fashion stylists and makeup artists and have clients from high profile celebrities to normal people like you and me. I feel so lucky, appreciative and flattered to be hired by Sheba Siddiqui the TV Hostess and producer of ROGERS TV show, The Bulletin Board and a special speaker of the show, daytime YORK to be her personal makeup artist and hairstylist for these shows! I have been with them for almost 2 months! =D

I was extremely lucky to have gotten the chance to meet one of the best hair stylist in the Toronto Chinese showbiz, Carlos from Spellbound Hair Design. He is the director of Spellbound and is affiliated with many TV personae and celebrities. We have worked together at Miss Canada World Pageant, I was doing makeup and he was directing his team of hairstylist. He was so nice, funny and approachable that he recruited me to be one of his hair apprentice! Ever since then, he has taught me a lot about hair and have brought me to many events, functions and galas to put me to practice!
I am currently compiling and online Makeup and Hair PORTFOLIO!!!! I can't wait until that's done! Let me know, what type of pictures or art-work are you most interested in seeing? From my experience, aside from the professional photos, I get the most positive responses from my Before and After pictures! I was thinking of also including some behind the scene photos and of course I will include some of my special effects makeup as well. I will keep you guys updated on this!

I REALLY HOPE I can have more time to blog more often because I miss talking to you guys SO MUCH!!! Starting this blog was definitely one of the best decisions I have made! But I am more busy now then I've ever been, so we will see how this goes!
